We are pleased to offer the Agave Residence which is owned by the same family who owns the Hotel Villa Meligunis.

"Lipari was lovely. The apartments were beautiful, spacious and clean and in a fab central location. It was a real bonus to be able to use the hotel's facilities and the staff there were incredibly helpful - arranging day trips, answering our questions and feeding us with useful information." 

The Residence is an 18th century townhouse in the centre of Old Lipari, surrounded by a maze of lanes and small squares. It has been converted into 6 large studio apartments, all of which retain some of the original features, such as hand painted ceilings and Sicilian ceramic flooring.

All the studios sleep up to 4 people with a double bed and two sofa chair beds. They all have kitchenettes, equipped with microwave, fridge and two ring hobs.

There is a rooftop terrace for guests' use which has views over Lipari Town and to the sea and is furnished with tables and chairs. Guests staying at the Agave Residence are able to use all the facilities at the Hotel Villa Meligunis including the rooftop pool, bar and restaurant which prides itself on its local cuisine. Guests are also able to have breakfast at the hotel at no extra charge should they wish.

The closest beach is a short walk away, but the hotel does provide a shuttle bus service to other beaches. For those who wish to do some exploring, the hotel has a couple of bicycles which guests can hire, and is able to arrange scooter or car hire if you would like to explore the island further. The hotel reception will also be able to arrange excursions to other Aeolian Islands and various activities such as diving.
